From Carrie Craft, your Guide to Adoption
I feel strongly that the best way to not only learn as a foster or adoptive parent but to also feel understood as a foster or adoptive parent is through the sharing of experiences.

How Have You Handled an Allegation as a Parent?
One of the toughest situations to handle as a foster parent or as an adoptive parent, is an allegation. It is so painful to know that someone, usually someone you love and trust has accused you of mistreating your child. If you've been through an allegation, please share how you endured this painful parenting moment.

If I Could Discuss One Adoption Topic with Family....
Sometimes our friends and family are truly misinformed on adoption or foster care issues. Is there a topic you wish you could discuss with someone in your life? Whether you're an adoptive parent, a birth parent or an adoptee, what adoption topic do you think your family and friends could really need more information or perhaps even a reeducation?

Top Hurtful or Rude Questions and Comments About Your Child
Seems like today the main point of the newsletter is communication. Most conversations begin with questions. As foster and adoptive parents, we've heard some amazingly rude questions and comments. Please share the most outstanding rude question or comment you've heard regarding your family.
