From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks

Journey to Colorado for a Wild Water Park
You typically don't find lumbering dinosaurs or ancient mummies at a water park. (That's more the province of Disney and Universal theme parks.) But Water World Colorado, near Denver, is not a typical water park. Built in 1979, it is a pioneer in the industry. From its humble beginnings as a two-slide park, the 64-acre behemoth has grown to include nearly every water slide and ride imaginable, including the highly unique, dinosaur-themed Journey to the Center of the Earth. This year, it debuts Mile High Flyer, a launched uphill water coaster. Read more about Water World Colorado.

Harry Continues to Cast Spell for Universal
We may still be in the throes of the worst recession since the Great Depression, but that didn't stop Universal Orlando from investing huge amounts of money and taking a chance on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And it hasn't stopped hordes of visitors from shelling out huge amounts of money to take a Forbidden Journey with Harry and the gang. Find out what I mean by "hordes." The annual Global Attractions Attendance Report reports huge increases for the Florida park. Read more.
