Christmas in July

From Sherri Osborn, your Guide to Family Crafts
Did you miss me last week? Just in case you didn't see my note, I decided to take a break from Make-It-Over Monday last week because of the holiday. I hope everyone is getting back in a routine this week and are ready to participate in a new challenge.

Craft Challenge Results
I was so happy to get some fun and unique beach crafts submitted for this Make-It-Over craft challenge:

What do you think about them? Remember, just because we are moving onto a new craft challenge item today doesn't mean you can't still submit your beach crafts. Submissions are still being accepted for any and all past Make-It-Over Craft Challenge items.

New Craft Challenge
Now, onto a new Make-It-Over Monday Craft Challenge item! The new craft challenge item is chalkboard paint. I chose this item because I have some crafts made using it that have been on my 'to-do' list for quite awhile.

You can use this product to transform anything into a masterpiece you can write on. I personally am going to hit some garage sales and thrift stores to see what I can find. I may also go dig in my husband's garage... (Shhh, don't tell him!) It is even now available in a variety of different colors (compare prices).

Please take some time in the next few weeks to experiment with this fun product, and then submit your ideas using one of these methods:

  • If you are submitting a craft project, use this simple form.

  • If you are submitting a link to a craft project, use this simple form. Make sure you mention that your submission is for a Make-it-Over Craft Challenge. Also, make sure you let me know whether it is okay to use a copy of a picture of the project.

If you have questions or comments about this craft challenge, use the comment feature on this blog post. Suggestions regarding this feature? Again, use the comments feature to post your suggestions; and, thanks for playing along.
