| Nana- You only have until midnight tonight to make an urgent gift to our campaign to save the Arctic and to help us hit our goal of raising $100,000.
We’re so close. We need just 45 from your state to make a donation today and we’ll hit our goal. Help make that a reality and support our work to save the Arctic by being one of those people.
Greenpeace doesn’t take money from governments or corporations. Everything we do is made possible by individual donors like yourself.
Every day the Shell drilling fleet gets closer and closer to exploratory drilling in the Arctic. It’s all part of a modern day oil rush. The company is already starting to get sloppy.
Just days ago, Shell lost control of its 14,000 ton drill rig in Dutch Harbor, where witnesses say it came dangerously close to running aground on the beach. If they can’t control their drill rig while it’s anchored at port, how are we supposed to believe they can handle drilling in the harsh waters off the coast of Alaska? We don’t need another Exxon Valdez on our hands.
Greenpeace is fighting Shell’s Arctic drilling plans in the courts, in the press, and through creative campaigning online using social media. But we need the resources to keep it going strong.
Just 45 more gifts from people in your state will put us over the top. Please make your most generous gift by midnight tonight.
Shell has no intentions of giving up their mission to drill, and we have no intentions of giving up our mission to stop them. This is a campaign we can win with your support.
Save the Arctic,
Dan Howells Greenpeace Deputy Campaigns Director |
Greenpeace 702 H Street, NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20001 | 1-800-722-6995
