| Nana, | As the new year begins, people worldwide are looking back at 2023 and making resolutions for what's to come. Last year, we saw record-high temperatures, natural disasters impacting our communities, and corporations continuing to damage our climate and infiltrate our democracy. But we also saw, once again, the essential importance of people taking action and how powerful we truly are when we come together. We can win — but we need people like you to deepen their activism and join us. Looking to volunteer and strengthen your climate activism in 2024? Sign up for our letter-writing volunteer call on Thursday, January 11th at 5:30PDT/8:30EDT to get started. Greenpeace USA Letter Writing Kickoff Call Join us on your computer or phone Thursday, January 11 8:30 p.m EDT // 5:30 PDT | | Soon, critical primary elections could help choose a Congress that delivers a livable future and a green energy system that works for all of us, not just Big Oil. That's why we're starting off our year with a kickoff call to learn the importance of elections for the climate and how to write letters to climate voters. Last year, we sent over 157,000 letters — each one potentially leading to a vote for the climate. Informing and turning out voters is mission-critical when it comes to protecting our climate. The work of our movement does not end at the ballot box — but we cannot sit on the sidelines while fossil fuel giants do everything in their power to get candidates elected. Be one of the first people to sign up for our January 2024 Letter Writing kickoff call and RSVP now. The 2024 elections are essential in setting the stage to pass climate action, strengthen democracy, and create a green and peaceful future. Our movement is powerful — but it needs every person reading this email to join. Volunteering means joining an inclusive community of people from across the country and having everything you need to take action for the climate. Whether you are an active volunteer now (thank you!), volunteered in the past, or are looking to get involved for the first time — this is the opportunity for you. Join us on Thursday, January 11th to learn how to get involved in writing letters to climate voters and building power for our movement! See you there, | Justin Coskey Organizing Specialist, Greenpeace USA P.S. Can't make the call?
