Ruby Pendant Necklaces

Ruby Pendant NecklacesRuby is the July birthstone, and that makes ruby jewelry the perfect gift for anyone born this month. But ruby (and other red gems) have both been given as gifts of love for centuries, so it's the perfect gem for anyone you care deeply about. Be sure to gift yourself sometimes, too, because you deserve the love. Learn about ruby and browse our collection of ruby pendant necklaces.

Find a Gold Chain Necklace
White gold, yellow gold and gold in rose to pink tones -- that's what you'll find in this varied collection of chain necklaces. They're all different, and all unique.

The Blue: Sapphire
Sapphire and ruby are actually the same mineral, called corundum. Any color of corundum other than red is a sapphire, like the deep blue gems that are so popular for engagement rings. Learn a few sapphire basics before you shop, and consider mixing it with diamonds (like Princess Di's engagement ring, now on the finger of Princess Catherine).

The White: Platinum
Platinum rounds out this week's thoughts of red, white and blue. Platinum is more rare than gold, very durable, and has its own unique appearance.
